  • Design and development of sequential and parallel simulation codes for the implementation of exposure synthesis algorithm for Imaging Interferometric Lithography. Aug. 96 – Aug. 97 Design engineer (R&D) - Networks, Processor Systems India Ltd., Bangalore, India
  • Core design of Asymmetric Digital Subscribers Line (ADSL) central office.
  • Device drivers for token ring second generation device TMS 38025.
  • Embedded system software for Management Processor Module of a token ring concentrator handled by RISC processor i960, and a suite of software for automated testing of the module.
Sep. 95 – Jun. 96 Project Trainee National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore, India
  • Involved in the design and development of hardware and embedded assembly level programs for a microcontroller (Intel 8051) based digital automotive dashboard.

PROJECTS

Linux cluster Scheduler: Presently working on porting of an IBM-SP2 scheduler to Linux clusters.
Shell and socket programming using C on UNIX: Designed and coded a shell equivalent to C shell with client features like ftp integrated with it.
Shared memory and semaphore related programs in C for classical problems like producer-consumer problem.
Memory and CPU scheduler using C on Sun OS: Designed and coded long term and short term schedulers and also implemented and analyzed LRU and FIFO caching algorithms.
Open-GL Graphics programming with C on IRIX: Projects implemented involved animations, lighting, texture mapping and hierarchical modeling.
Hardware logic designing with VHDL: Design of arithmetic logic units using powerview.
